Abstract
Semantic expressive representation of design objects, active system
behavior combined with reasoning facilities, and efficient implementation
concepts are necessary requirements for the construction of better
CAD systems. Here, we describe our approach to a knowledge base
management system and exemplify its usage for advanced CAD systems.
