A Knowledge-based Approach to Intelligent CAD for Architectural DesignMattos, N.M., Deßloch, S., Leick, F.-J.University of Kaiserslautern, Department of Computer ScienceP.O. Our application integrates all relevant information regarding the design of one-story houses into a product model. It divides the design process in three main phases, in which the product model is used as basis for the execution of the functional, topological, and geometrical design. In the paper, we give an overview of this product model and describe the system activities that are carried out in each of the design phases.in: Proc.
