Dear students,

due to recent developments (Corona), the University has asked to reduce personal contact to an absolute minimum. Oral exams are still possible under certain precautions. We have decided the following regarding the oral exams for the Middleware course to follow the general intent of the above policy.

If you have registered for an exam, then we strongly suggest that you cancel/reschedule and wait until the situation has improved if this is a possible option for you. We will offer new exam dates once the situation clears up. If you decide to reschedule, then please let us know by email AND cancel your exam at the examination office. This is still possible until the day before the registered exam date, you just have to give an important reason for cancelling (and fear of being infected and therefore not being able to focus enough on the exam should be important enough). Only when you cancel an exam on the same day, you need a statement from a doctor (Attest).

If you cannot or do not want to reschedule the exam because this would delay the progress or completion of your studies or you feel that significant time you have invested for preparing would be lost, then you can stay registered and we will do the exam, unless further regulations at the university level would make that impossible. We will do our best to provide a safe environment for the exam (2m distance between the participants, using the white board for notes/explanations, using disinfectants, …). Exams will take place in the seminar room 36/336 opposite of my office room.
