In the Brackit project, we want to rethink the nature of data management and query processing for semi-structured data. In essence, our goal is to provide a common basement of effective compilation, optimization and evaluation techniques for (scripting-style) query languages, which is not tied to a particular storage, processing model or data model.

Current status

Since 2014, our research focus has moved away from the Brackit project into Instant Recovery. Student jobs and thesis topics are not being offered anymore.
